Requirements and Description

ERMC Aviation Services is searching for an Exterior Wax Agent for our Southwest Airlines contract located at the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). **Please note - this job also requires installation of carpets on aircrafts as needed**

Shift:
  • 9:00 pm until job completion - Maximum 8 hours per shift
  • Hours vary
Responsibilities:
  • Clean, polish exterior and interior of aircraft
  • Polish painted and aluminum surfaces
  • Condition leather
  • Sanitize galley and lavatory surfaces
  • Responsible for the efficient removal and installation of new carpets on aircraft interiors as needed, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and compliance with standards
  • Other duties as assigned, but not covered herein
Qualifications:
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to pass Drug screening.
  • Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
  • Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
  • Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
  • Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
  • Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
Physical Demands/Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
  • Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
  • Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
  • Must be able to work in the elements; including but not limited to rain, sleet, snow, high temperatures.
