Requirements and Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
· Assigns tasks to workers, and inspects completed work for conformance to standards
· Helps supervisor/manager with nightly crew briefing at start of each shift to cover concerns or issues found on the previous work day.
· Helps resolve workers problems and refers to manager or supervisor on how to best handle issue.
· Records employee hours worked on shift reports.
· Verifies aircraft gates and arrival times with Airline Operations dept if overseeing shift for supervisor/manager.
· Complete walk through of finished aircraft to verify it was cleaned according to specs, also points out corrections to crew if any found and has them correct issues.
· Properly fills out paperwork to turn in aircraft and seals all doors as per TSA directive.
· Works with/on cleaning crew to insure aircraft are completed in a timely manner. Most of the above duties will be done at the request of supervisor/ Manager. To include running entire shift in either supervisor/ manager absence.
Other requirements include:
MATH ABILITY:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform the job successfully, and individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software and payroll systems to include time clocks.
LICENSE REQUIRED:
A valid state issued driver's license is required by ERMC and Airport authority at time of initial employment to operate a motor vehicle. Operating a motor vehicle will be a required to complete nightly duties in most instances.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and / or US Customs security badges. Must fulfill FBI criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display area (SIDA).
Work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
Work overtime on short notice in emergencies or when operationally necessary.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.
