ERMC is Hiring for ATL Hartsfield Airport. Hiring ON-THE-SPOT for Window Washing Lead Techs up to $19.50 hr.! 

Opportunities: Window Washing Lead Technician

Shifts Available:  

  • 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm 

  • 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30am 

  • 3rd shift 10:00pm-6:30am 

Position Titles:  

  • Window Washing Lead (Up to 19.50 hr.) 


Window Washing Lead Technician at an airport is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of windows and glass surfaces within the airport premises. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role: 

Supervision: Responsible for direct supervision of technician. Responsible for scheduling, assigning day-to-day tasks. Corresponding with customer to provide the best service for the Airport

Window Cleaning: 

  • Clean all windows, both inside and outside, to ensure they are free from dirt, streaks, and smudges. 

  • Pay attention to details, including windowsills and ledges. 

  • Remove cobwebs and other debris from window frames. 

Glass Polishing: 

  • Polish glass surfaces to enhance their clarity and overall appearance. 

  • Ensure that mirrors and other reflective surfaces are spotless. 

Exterior Washing: 

  • Perform exterior washes of airport buildings, including the terminal, hangars, and other structures. 

  • Use specialized cleaning equipment to clean the glass on the exterior of the airport. 

  • Maintain and inspect window cleaning equipment and tools to ensure they are in optimal working condition. 

  • Keep records of job progress and costs related to window cleaning tasks. 

Timely Completion: 

  • Complete assigned window cleaning tasks within specified deadlines. 

  • Assist with additional cleaning requests as needed. 

In summary, a Window Washing Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for passengers, staff, and visitors at the airport by ensuring that windows and glass surfaces are sparkling clean and well-maintained. 🪟 


  • Must be a local (in-state) resident. 

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen same day as interview. 

  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check. 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 

  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 without sponsorship now or in the future. 

  • Must complete fingerprinting ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security. 

Physical Demands/Requirements 

  • Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces. 

  • Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods. 

  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places. 

  • Must be able to carry heavy items throughout the airport. 

  • Must be comfortable walking and standing long periods of time. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Education: High School diploma or GED. 

  • Experience: One+ year of relevant experience.
