Requirements and Description

ERMC has stations in more than 200 airports. We provide a comprehensive range of ground aviation services, encompassing ticketing, ground handling, cabin cleaning, and cargo handling.

 ERMC also provides operations and maintenance for terminals and support facilities in some of the world's busiest airport locations.


ERMC Aviation is seeking a Conveyor Technician. The candidate selected for this position is the first responder to all alarms and is primarily responsible for any operational tasks required by the location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Install and maintain specialized functional and structural components on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform preventive, corrective, predictive, and emergency maintenance tasks as needed, including availability of 24-hour emergency support when required.
• Realign and reposition baggage on the Baggage Handling System (BHS) to maintain smooth system operation and prevent jams or delays.
• Monitor and operate the system interface (HMI) to identify, diagnose, and report system issues or malfunctions.
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of BHS components under the guidance of the Team Leader or BHS Manager, with a focus on developing both mechanical and electrical skills to improve system performance and support personal technical growth.

Qualifications:
• Mechanical systems knowledge: Motors, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics
• Electrical systems knowledge
• Electromechanical troubleshooting
• Experience with Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) and/or Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) is a strong plus


Standard qualifications:
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
