Summary

ERMC Customer Service Agents are the first line of defense for our customers! This is a customer-facing role, providing first-class customer service to everyone. You are friendly, outgoing and love to make people happy on a daily basis!

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities  

  • Greets, escorts, and checks passengers in for flight in a friendly, prompt, and courteous manner.
  • Lifts and/or loads passenger luggage in/out of vehicles and transports to check-in counter.
  • Enters passenger information into computer system and verifies that baggage meets weight requirements.
  • Prints bag tags and boarding cards for passengers using the ticketing system.
  • Reads and verifies passenger identification and boarding card are correct.
  • Communicates and collects all applicable fees such as additional bag fee and administrative fees to passenger prior to processing transaction in computer system.
  • Provides information about departures, arrivals and terminal facilities.
  • Prepares paperwork to report tips to comply with IRS and Company requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

 

Basic Qualifications/Pre-Requisites   

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. 
  • Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security. 
  • Excellent customer service skills.  
  • Strong work ethic. 
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.  
  • Ability to type and or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the requirements of the role. 
  • Able to understand documents, learn and follow ticketing procedures, and other rules and regulations. 

ยท         One+ year of relevant experience.    

  • Able to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment. 
  • Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner. 
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently to meet tight time restrictions.
