**THIS IS A TRAVEL TECHNICIAN POSITION BASED OUT OF HOUSTON, TEXAS**
ERMC is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. The candidate will perform maintenance-related work assignments to ensure all facilities & equipment are properly maintained in a safe and reliable working order. The main focus will be to resolve all Passenger Loading Bridges and Ground Support Equipment issues.
- Perform repairs and maintain Passenger loading bridges, 400 HZ, AHU’s, and potable water units.
- Performs daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual preventive maintenance on 10 – 75 ton HVAC equipment, including: filter, belt, electrical, and refrigeration system maintenance.
- Troubleshoots and repairs all facility HVAC equipment, including: system controls, electrical components, supply & return fan replacement, 35 – 75 ton compressor replacement.
- Determines and maintains inventory levels of HVAC related spare parts and material required for maintenance and repairs.
- Reads and understands complicated blue prints, wiring schematics, control diagrams and other equipment specifications to aid in troubleshooting efforts.
- Recommends revisions to preventive maintenance programs to increase program effectiveness.
- Must be willing to be crossed trained on non-HVAC equipment and perform non-HVAC related assignments.
- Performs unassisted routine preventative maintenance and major repairs on various electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Maintains assigned tools and supports the accurate inventory of all company supplied tools.
- Maintains high quality appearance of the equipment and facility.
- Updates maintenance work assignment records via the computerized maintenance management system.
- Perform minor welding tasks with electrical welding equipment on mild steels and be knowledgeable of all safety practices relating to welding processes.
- Resolves all Passenger Boarding bridge and Gate Service equipment malfunctions that involve the electrical mechanical and computer control system.
- Assigns work via computerized work order system.
- Troubleshoots complex electrical controls.
- Installs electrical circuitry, conducts and control components.
- Recommends purchases and stocking levels for critical parts and supplies.
- Provides facility operations support for hardware set-ups and repairs.
**EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED ** HVAC CERTIFICATION PREFERRED**

- Able to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
- Must have completed classroom training or its equivalent on electrical controls.
- Must have experience repairing and maintaining complex high volume conveyor equipment.
- Must have training or equivalent for basic AC & DC electricity.
- Experience repairing and maintaining basic mechanical devices required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
- Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
- Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
- Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
- Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
