Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Baggage Handling Conveyor Technician to join our airport operations team. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated baggage handling conveyor systems to ensure smooth and efficient airport operations. This position offers hands-on technical work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on baggage handling conveyor systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.

• Repair or replace defective parts and ensure proper system calibration.

• Monitor system performance and respond promptly to alerts or breakdowns.

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.

• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize system performance.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLCs and control systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Flexible schedule (shifts, weekends, holidays).
• Previous experience in conveyor systems or industrial maintenance preferred

Standard qualifications
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
