Requirements and Description

The Lead Maintenance Technician shall have a minimum of three (5) years’ experience in equipment operation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting the following airport systems:
  • Passenger boarding bridges, 400 Hertz ground power, 3 phase motor controls, cabin air conditioning systems, packages units (PCA’s), electronics, PLC, VFD systems, and solid waste triturator system. In addition, but not limited to inspections, electronics, limit switches, circuit boards, inverters, tires, gears, hydraulics, pumps, cylinders, and various peripheral equipment.
The Technicians may qualify by a combination of history and knowledge of the above noted systems.

Lead Technicians shall also be able to train & supervise technicians on how to respond to facility maintenance trouble calls within the main terminal building including non-routine HVAC, plumbing, general maintenance, electrical power, and lighting call.

Lead Maintenance Technicians shall be fluent in speaking, writing, and reading the English language and capable of communicating clearly over airport radios.
