Standard qualifications:
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing
• Must possess a government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.


ERMC is seeking a technician to be the first responder to all alarms and is primarily responsible for any operational tasks required by the location. This position is responsible for repairs and maintaining machinery, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical/laser recognition systems used in baggage conveyor systems and other day-to-day activities with a minimum of equipment downtime.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Troubleshoot repairs
• First responder to various system alarms, including Bag Jams, motor overloads, bag tracking faults, etc.
• Cleaning of the shop, control room, and BHS assets.
• Realignment of baggage on the BHS.
• Monitor and use a system overview screen (HMI) to detect problems.
• Assist in repairs of BHS and its components as directed by the team leader or BHS manager to develop mechanical/electrical skills, which will provide an opportunity for a quality BHS performance and personal advancement.

Qualifications
• Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to climb ladders and catwalks to access certain areas of the Baggage Handling System.
• Proficiency with both hand and power tools.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance is preferred.
