Requirements and Description

Job Summary:  

Responsible for leading a team in training qualifications and cleaning aircraft interiors, lavatories, restocking supplies. Also coaching each team member to the exacting standards of Delta Air Lines for cabin service. And responsible for maintaining cleaning equipment and cabin supplies to enable on-time departure of aircraft.

Job Duties:   

  • Oversee, organize, and maintain station records, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely resolution of training discrepancies.
  • Design, implement, and manage training programs for new and current employees, including monitoring trainee attendance and performance and maintaining all training materials and documentation.
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to assess organizational and departmental training needs, evaluate employee performance, and identify opportunities for training and development.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, recommend improvements, and manage the training budget in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Supervise cabin service agents and support daily aircraft cleaning operations, including transporting equipment, cleaning cabins and lavatories, disposing of waste, restocking supplies, and performing aircraft security inspections.
  • Maintain the cabin services supply room, manage inventory levels, and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
  • Uphold company safety and operational standards by completing all tasks safely, reporting hazards or incidents promptly, and adhering to the ERMC Fair and Just Culture Policy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

 


Qualifications:  
 

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent education. 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements. 
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.  

 

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • One year of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.  

 

Physical requirements:   

  • Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend. 

 

Working conditions:   

  • Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.  
  • Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
